This week our guest speaker at our Friday Morning Breakfast Meeting is Katy Patrick.
Katy is a retired senior technology professional with approximately 30 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry as a program and project manager, business analyst and individual contributor.
Her youngest son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 11 years of age in 2005. That is what started her involvement with JDRF. There was so much to learn. She and her son started volunteering with JDRF in 2006 by greeting guests at the annual Promise Ball. Over time her commitment to JDRF has grown to include mentoring newly diagnosed families and supporting the annual Promise Ball and JDRF One Walk.
