Picture yourself today being thrust into a new place you’ve never been, having to immediately provide for your family. How do you secure a job? What do you do for healthcare? Where do you live? How will your relationship and kids weather these changes? How will you succeed during this critical juncture in your life? These are questions our veterans and their families face during transition.
According to the Department of Defense, every day approximately 1,300 new veterans, spouses, and children begin the journey of reintegration into their local communities. The transition for these families brings many unique challenges and no two transitions are the same.
These veterans and their families are incredible assets to our nation. Given the opportunity of effective integration, they will continue to serve and lead in our communities and businesses.
