SPEAKER: Jon McGinnis
Jon grew up in Grand Prairie, SGP Class of ‘86. He earned his BA in Criminal Justice from UT Arlington 1992, MA in Human Sciences from Our Lady of the Lake University 2000. Jon worked in Detentions at the Dallas County Department from 1993 to 2014 leaving as a Lieutenant, and served in the Army Reserve from 1990 to 2020. He worked as a Disaster Program Manager with American Red Cross and in emergency management with the City of Arlington, and is currently the recruiter for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Tarrant County.
