SPEAKER: Virginia Piper
Virginia has been legally blind with low vision (due to albinism) all her life. When she was 3 years old the Lions Club of Fort Worth sponsored the purchase of experimental contact lens. She will be sharing more information about that and where she is now.
BIO:
Virginia is a freelance artiest and Scottish bagpipe teacher in Fort Worth. She studied film, art, mass communication and music at Southern Mississippi. In addition to arts and writing, she loves science, math, amateur radio and is taking online courses toward a degree in electrical engineering in hopes of a few new adventures in aerospace communication and radio design.
