DESCRIPTION:SPEAKER: Lieutenant Michael Lugo is a 25 yr veteran of the Fort Worth Fire Department\, currently serving as the Commander of the Fort Worth Bomb Squad. Lt. Lugo has a vast background in fire special operations\, intelligence\, homeland security\, and criminal investigations.  Michael has numerous federal search & rescue deployments and has U.S. Army special operations combat experience\, having been awarded the Bronze Star and a commendation for valor.  Michael is an 17 yr law enforcement officer and helped develop the Active Shooter response plans & training programs for the City of Fort Worth.
