SPEAKER: Michael Handley, Director of Communications, Presbyterian Night Shelter
Michael will offer a shorter version of our monthly virtual tour that we give that will cover our response to COVID-19, a brief look at our programs, and some updates on the construction happening on campus and the new name for our social enterprise.
Michael joined the development team in February 2019 as the Director of Development, overseeing philanthropic grants, individual and monthly giving, and special events. Michael transitioned to the role of Communications Director in November 2019, overseeing the annual Home for the Holidays Gala, organization social media, and external communications and marketing projects, including the quarterly Open Door magazine and monthly e-newsletter. Michael received a bachelor’s degree in English from Baylor University and a master’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Arlington. Michael has been married to his high school sweetheart, Nikki, for over 7 years and they have 2 children, Eli (3 in December) and Emmy Kay (15 months). Michael loves spending time with his family (pictured here), is an avid reader, and loves of all things Baylor sports.
